The Engegård Quartet has attracted international recognition with their bold and fresh interpretations of the classical repertoire, combined with an irresistible inclination to be true to their Scandinavian roots, inspiring both Nordic programs and partnerships.
Their programme for Concerts Penzance is no exception,
combining two of the bedrocks of the classical chamber repertoire with the
first string quartet by Finnish pianist, conductor and composer Oli Mustonen,
written for the Engegard Quartet in 2017.
