Julien Van Mellaerts baritone Tim Dean piano
‘In this programme we will
perform Vaughan Williams’ characterful and moving ‘Songs of Travel’, and a
selection of Britten’s Folksong arrangements. The Folksong theme continues with
songs from Mahler’s ‘Knaben Wunderhorn’ collection; there are classic songs by
Schubert and a colourful finale with Ravel’s touching and funny ‘Don Quichotte
à Dulcinée'.’
